  • Led project identification, planning, monitoring, evaluation and phase-out of long term projects
  • Supported over 15,500 sponsored children, youth and their families.
  • Engaged community members in  education, health, cultural and human rights programs  
  • Trained children and youth on art, music, documentary production; organized exhibitions, children film festivals; provided award and scholarships 
  • Developed and delivered community journalism program for children and youth; trained youth in basic journalism, story writing, digital photography; published community newsletter on child & youth rights and development issues;

  • Supervised a Sponsorship team of 10 at Country Office & 31 project staff; retained over 20,000 sponsors through effective and timely communications and raised $4.5 million/year
  • Managed web based data management, paper filing and documentation in shared area & Intranet 
  • Directed and produced documentary on project appraisal process and Invigorating Child Sponsorship
  • Participated in international campaigns titled “Make Poverty History”, “1GOAL: Education for All” and “HungerFree” and mobilized children, youth, farmers and community members

  • Enhanced creativity and cultural development of children through implementing Invigoration Child Sponsorship Project  
  • Trained ActionAid Asia fundraising Staff (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Vietnam) on fundraising and project management.

  • Participated in strategy development as well as identified, appraised, monitored 20 long-term projects and partners on education, health, disability, HIV/AIDS, indigenous rights, woman & child rights and good governance

  • Liaised with donors and Funding Affiliates of ActionAid (UK, Italy, Spain & Greece) for fundraising

Sponsorship & Advocacy Officer   ( 1998 – 2002)

  • Developed programs on livelihood, health & adult literacy, and supported over 2000 women-headed slum dwelling households. Supported 550 sponsored children through primary education program
  • Supported 75 homeless street children for their food, shelter, education and cultural development
  • Implemented fundraising activities at field level and prepared sponsorship/donor reports
  • Participated in planning, budgeting and overall project management
